Announcing the appointment, Commercial Director at the Connacht Distillery, Killian O’Sullivan said, “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Spirit Cartel to bring our award winning whiskies to the UK. It has taken time to find the right distributor in what is a key Irish whiskey market, but the cultural fit with that we have with David and the Spirit Cartel team, as well as the incredible range of premium spirits which they already distribute in other categories, make this the natural move for Connacht Distillery.”

David Hood, General Manager of Spirit Cartel, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Connacht Distillery to the Spirit Cartel family and are delighted to support their UK expansion. At Spirit Cartel, we only work with brands we believe in and Connacht Distillery has made fantastic inroads in launching their two premium whiskies. We look forward to this opportunity to work with a company that unites experts in their fields to drive innovation in Irish whiskey.”
