Introducing the first Irish whiskey to be distilled in Mayo in over 150 years.
Connacht Single Malt Irish Whiskey Batch 1 is the first whiskey fully produced onsite at our own distillery in Ballina.
Crafted from 100% Irish malted barley, and double distilled in our bespoke copper pot stills, it has been aged in ex-bourbon casks and finished in Sherry casks, patiently maturing for four years until our distillers judged it to be ready for appreciation by whiskey lovers.

the connacht distillery is pleased to be part of the ballina community and welcomes visitors to the distillery. our gift shop is open from 10:30am to 5:30pm monday to friday.
in the distillery’s mullarkey bar guests can sample our whiskey, gin, poitín, and vodka. a unique blend of old and new, the comfortable room overlooks the gentle flow of the river moy.
